Sprouting Flower Power

Hello people!
Heard it is snowing in our part of the world right now - which interesting enough inspired me to bring out this breathtaking composition of colorful veggies from the summer. It looks somewhat the the same way a kid's paper looks after getting the hands on brand new coloring pens before all the others. Pure pleasure, a bit too much, but what sweet satisfaction of letting those perfect colors blend into each other. However, just like a kid will enjoy a package of new pens as I enjoyed making this salad, there is always a worrying thought in the back of the head reminding you those pens' or that salad's perfectness won't last forever. Which is what brings you to treat them carefully, trying to preserve its pleasure for as long as possible. For a kid that would be saving the pens until they dry out - and for me taking photos of the result. Even though the salad is since long gone and the flowers dead I still scroll past the pictures everytime I am about to post something on the blog. And then I can manage to recall that perfectness once again just like the kid looks at her or his painting remembering what a pleasure it was making it. So, I figured why not share it with you guys, you don't need a recipe, just enjoy the colorful, sparkling, sprouting flower power I managed to gather in a bowl one summerday.
Cheers!
