Quick Three-Layer Cake

Well, well, what do we have here, if I dare to ask? I am aware that there might be a slight over-representation of cakes in this blog. But then, let's be reasonable; if I do have the possibility to post all of these lovely cakes and recipes, isn't it my duty to do so? Would you rather prefer an empty blog, or perhaps a picture of a string of spagetthi in the meanwhile? I have come to the conclusion that the main reason to why I post so many cakes is simply because they are the ones that turn out best on the pictures. I mean, I wouldn't call myself a loosy photographer, but with a cake like this in front of the lens it is hard to snap a bad picture. And of course, what can be more inspirational than a real yummy looking, colorful, I-am-definately-gonna-take-this-cake-and-go-hide-in-the-cupboard-cake? I won't share an entire recipe with you, I merely wanted to share these pictures as a source of inspiration. You see this cake has got to layers of frosting? The first one is made of turkish yoghurt and lemon juice, and the other one is like a smoothie of berries, banana and honey yopped with nuts and shredded coconut. It's a quick way to fix a "three-layer-cake" without having to make three different batters, and it also provides a possibility to add an extra flavour to enrich the cake. Enjoy!
